Newport Bay Club

At the main entrance, a security gate is staffed around the clock. Beyond it, a palm-lined drive leads toward the clubhouse before the streets branch into the residential sections. The clubhouse sits before the split, so every trip home passes the common facilities before the road takes its final turn.

The Clubhouse Without the Membership

Every home comes with access to the community’s amenities, without a separate country club membership buy-in. Newport Bay Club sits along a corridor of country clubs with substantial membership fees, among them the Polo Club, Addison Reserve and St. Andrews Country Club. Here, there is no golf course. The homes overlook lakes, while the courts, pool and clubhouse are the focus of community life.

Tennis and pickleball are central to club life, with opportunities for both recreational and competitive play. Newport Bay Club has won division championships in Divisions 5, 6 and 8 of the Palm Beach County Pickleball League, along with the Division 10 championship in fall 2025. The club fields women’s tennis teams at the A, B and C levels and participates in the South Palm Beach Women’s Tennis Association and the Evening Palm Tennis League. Men’s teams compete in the Grand Slam League.

The Har-Tru tennis courts are lighted for evening play, while dedicated pickleball courts give that growing program a space of its own. A pro shop and on-site tennis and pickleball professionals offer instruction from first lessons through match play, making room for newcomers alongside experienced league players.

The clubhouse opens to a marble pool deck overlooking the heated resort-style pool, with swim lanes and poolside table tennis. The community offers a full social calendar, with yoga and sound healing classes, movie and book groups, card and mahjong groups, cooking classes and game nights. Seasonal traditions include holiday socials, Fourth of July parties, back-to-school doughnuts and Halloween trunk-or-treat events, alongside evening tennis and pickleball socials.

Four Distinct Ways to Live

In The Tides, all 39 homes have waterfront settings. Three- to five-bedroom plans range from 3,075 to 3,706 total square feet, with both one- and two-story designs. Water is the common thread throughout this section, giving buyers a consistent setting while leaving a choice of home sizes and layouts.

Hampton Club has 42 detached patio homes with one- and two-story Mediterranean designs, ranging from 2,157 to 4,677 total square feet. Gated entries and a perimeter privacy wall give the enclave a more secluded feel. Its waterfront and interior properties offer a wide range of home sizes, from compact single-story residences to substantially larger homes.

Copper Lake is the largest section, with 86 homes ranging from 2,273 to 3,769 total square feet. Ceilings rising as high as twenty-three feet and walls of glass lend the interiors an open, airy feel. Most homes have waterfront settings, and the mix of one- and two-story designs offers variety within a more consistent range of sizes.

The Estates comprises 58 custom homes, ranging from 3,634 to 6,506 total square feet. Several builders contributed to the section, creating variation in layouts and architectural details. Lots are typically close to twice the size of those in the other neighborhoods, giving the homes a more expansive setting and making the grounds as much a part of their character as the architecture.

A master association oversees Newport Bay Club’s shared amenities and common areas, with neighborhood associations handling responsibilities within the individual sections. Monthly fees vary accordingly. These practical differences accompany the architectural ones: lawn maintenance is included in three sections, while homeowners in The Estates care for their own landscaping.

At Home in Boca

The setting is walkable. Coffee at Starbucks or dinner at Chez Henry’s or The Sea is close to home at The Shoppes at Addison Place. The nearby shops and restaurants make it easy to keep everyday plans local, while Boca Raton and Delray Beach offer a wider choice for an afternoon out or an evening downtown.

Downtown Delray Beach and its nightlife are approximately 7.6 miles away, about 15 to 20 minutes by car, while Town Center at Boca Raton is approximately 4.9 miles away, about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

In downtown Boca, Mizner Park and Royal Palm Place offer restaurants, shops and nightlife, with a theater, museum and amphitheater adding to the area’s cultural calendar. Nearby parks and municipal golf courses offer places to walk, play and spend time outdoors. Atlantic beaches are also within easy driving distance, roughly 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic and the destination.
