Custom Estates Along The Boca Raton’s Golf Course

The Boca Raton’s golf course encircles Addison Estates and Mizner Lake Estates: fifteen custom estates in one enclave, fifteen more in the other. Every home stands directly on water. Addison Estates turns at an angle between two lakes, while Mizner Lake Estates describes a crescent beside one continuous stretch of water; in either enclave, the fairway begins again across the far bank. Across both small developments, the rooflines repeat from address to address. Together, in Boca Raton, they form two separate estate streets folded fully into resort land.

The resort closed that course on April 7, 2026 to rebuild it to a plan by the golf architect Brian Silva, and projects play returning in late fall 2026. About a third of the holes are being reshaped and the turf replaced throughout. The routing, the lakes and the outlook from these houses stay as they are.

Beyond that ring of golf, Royal Palm Place sits about 0.4 mile from both enclaves, a walk of about 8 to 10 minutes, and its shops and restaurants are close enough to make the trip part of an ordinary errand. East Palmetto Park Road lies a quarter mile from Addison Estates, about 5 to 7 minutes on foot; from Mizner Lake Estates the same road is about two-thirds of a mile, or about 13 to 16 minutes. The Intracoastal lies to the east, with the ocean close at hand across it, and Mizner Park’s shops, restaurants, museum and amphitheater stand to the north.

Addison Estates

Addison Estates bends with its ground. The short street, Addison Park Lane, holds fifteen custom-built homes on a five-acre dog-leg, with a large lake along the south edge and a narrower body of water following the west. The southern row backs directly onto the larger lake; across that far bank, fairway resumes, while the narrower lake repeats the same sequence along the west. Although each house here was individually built, courses of tile continue in sequence from roof to roof down this tight estate street, which completes its turn before it can open into a spread-out subdivision.

Addison Estates was named for Addison Mizner, who helped shape Boca Raton’s architecture and joined others in building The Boca Raton here in 1926; the private residences now occupy the grounds of the property his work helped establish.

Mizner Lake Estates

Set on about seven acres along SE 9th Lane, Mizner Lake Estates curves where its companion enclave turns; fifteen custom-built houses follow the crescent, with courses of tile continuing the roofline found to the north. Every residence backs directly onto the lake, and The Boca Raton’s golf course continues across the far bank.

Resort Setting, Separate Choice

Entry to both enclaves is through two gates rather than one. The first is a main gate manned twenty-four hours a day, the Mizner Village gate off East Palmetto Park Road for Addison Estates and The Boca Raton’s own gate on Camino Real for Mizner Lake Estates. Beyond it each enclave keeps a second private gate of its own, and the residences stand on the resort’s grounds with the resort’s world-famous golf course all around.

Membership at The Boca Raton remains separate and optional, while ownership in either enclave carries no obligation to join the resort. Membership is arranged with the resort itself rather than through the sale of a house, and inquiries begin on its own pages. What it opens, from the private beach to the racquet courts and the restaurants, is set out on the resort’s own membership pages.

Living Here

Thirty homes in all, on two short streets most of Boca Raton will never drive down. The county recorded four sales across both enclaves in the twelve months to June 2026. The golf course holds the world at a distance. The lakes carry the light until evening. The gates close behind you twice, and beyond them are the beach and downtown Boca.
