The Addison On The Ocean
Homes for Sale in The Addison On The Ocean
The Addison pairs two fifteen-story towers, both curving in an arc, along 950 feet of shoreline at 1400 and 1500 South Ocean Boulevard in Boca Raton.
Two Towers, Several Ways to Combine Space
Each tower was planned with ninety homes, one hundred eighty in all. Buyers could combine two units into one home with as much as 6,000 square feet, and some owners have since joined neighboring units, reducing the number of separate homes; one combined home measures 4,254 square feet with three bedrooms and four baths. A typical floor holds six homes, but an elevator serves only two of them. Two- and three-bedroom plans run from a 2,156-square-foot home with two and one-half baths to a 3,117-square-foot corner home with three bedrooms and three and one-half baths. Exterior walls are masonry with stucco, and the roofs use prestressed concrete.
Pools and Services by Design
The original design called for two heated pools and a whirlpool spa, with a pavilion and cabanas serving outdoor use in that plan while exercise rooms, saunas and steam rooms covered fitness and recovery. Dining and gathering were planned around a bar and grille and social rooms. Valet parking was also part of the design. Concierge service was too. A garage under each tower, covered parking that could be purchased, and a staffed gatehouse rounded out the plan.
Ocean and City Views
Most homes see both ocean and city. Camino Real lies just north along South Ocean Boulevard, while the beach runs directly beside the condo.
The N and S prefixes in unit numbers mark the North and South towers under one declaration.
